MAXFR · Max Fontana-RevalLast updated June 2026

The short version: this site sets no cookies. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies, and no analytics cookies. You can browse the whole of maxfr.co.uk without anything being stored on your device to identify or follow you — which is why you have never seen a cookie banner here, and won't.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device, often used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, or — most commonly — to track your behaviour across pages and sites for analytics and advertising. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside UK GDPR), non-essential cookies require your consent. We avoid the question entirely by not using them.

Analytics without cookies

We do want to know, in aggregate, which pages are useful — so we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless by design. It measures page views and general trends without setting any cookie, without fingerprinting your device, without tracking you across other websites, and without building any profile of you as an individual. We cannot identify you from it.

Forms and the diagnostic

Our interactive tools, including the Board Advisory Diagnostic, run entirely in your browser and store nothing on your device between visits. If you choose to send results — by email or the on-page form — that submission is delivered to us by our form provider; it is covered in our privacy policy, and it does not rely on cookies.

Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers it. Cloudflare processes limited request data (such as your IP address) at the network level for security and performance — this is server-side infrastructure logging, not a cookie, and it sets nothing on your device. We explain it in our privacy policy.

Third parties

We self-host our fonts and imagery rather than loading them from cookie-setting third-party networks, so ordinary browsing does not hand your data to advertising or social platforms. Where a page links out to one of our other ventures or an external site, that site's own cookie and privacy practices apply once you follow the link.

If this ever changes

If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will add a compliant consent mechanism and update this page before doing so. Until you see that, you can take this page at its word.

Questions

Anything you would like to check, write to i@maxfr.co. You can also control or block cookies generally in your browser settings, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) about any site's practices.
